Wigan Athletic have confirmed that Swansea City loanee Ollie Cooper has been recalled, bringing his short spell at The Brick Community Stadium to an end.
The Welsh midfielder made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Latics, finding the net once during his time in blue and white. While his stint in Greater Manchester may not have fully lived up to expectations, Cooper always worked hard when called upon and remained professional throughout.
That solitary goal – coming in the victory over Mansfield Town – will be the moment most supporters remember, providing a positive highlight in an otherwise mixed loan spell.
