Latics begin their FA Cup campaign at Meadow Park
The first-round draw paired Wigan with Boreham Wood, handing Latics an away test against National League opposition.
It is the sort of occasion that makes the early rounds of the competition appealing, with the hosts chasing an upset and Wigan looking to get their cup campaign off to a winning start. For Latics, the priority will be making sure the journey ends with a place in the next round.
