Wigan Athletic supporters now know exactly what lies ahead after the release of the 2026/27 Sky Bet League One fixture list, with the Latics set for another campaign packed with long away days, local rivalries and crucial clashes at the Brick Community Stadium.
The Latics will kick off the new season on Saturday 15 August with a trip to Cambridge United, before returning home a week later to welcome Leyton Orient in the first home league game of the campaign.
The month concludes with an away trip to AFC Wimbledon, while September sees home fixtures against MK Dons, Stockport County and Wycombe Wanderers, with a visit to Sheffield Wednesday sandwiched in between before another away day at Leicester City.
October looks particularly demanding. The Latics host Mansfield Town, Reading and Bromley, while travelling to Stevenage, Oxford United and Huddersfield Town.
November is slightly lighter, featuring home matches against Barnsley and Plymouth Argyle, alongside an away day at Blackpool.
The festive period could prove decisive. December begins with consecutive away trips to Burton Albion, Luton Town, Peterborough United and Doncaster Rovers, before ending the year with a home fixture against Notts County.
The new year starts with home games against Bradford City, Oxford United and Huddersfield Town, while the Latics also travel to Peterborough United, Reading and Bromley during January.
