Wigan Athletic’s 2025/26 Kits Leaked Online
Wigan Athletic’s home, away and third kits for the upcoming 2025/26 season have been leaked – not through the usual social media drops or blurry photos – but thanks to a surprising slip-up on Google.
The Accidental Leak
Fans discovered the new home, away, and third kits after the images appeared in Google search results. Although the links themselves directed to a 404 error page, the search engine had already indexed the images, allowing supporters to get an early look at the fresh designs.
The 2025/26 Kits
Home Shirt
Wigan’s traditional blue and white stripes remain, but the design has a clean, bold look with solid vertical panels. The shirt is finished with a simple round collar, giving it a sharp, classic vibe that fans will recognise as what appears to be an inspiration from the 05/06 home shirt.
Away Shirt
The away kit this season is a sleek dark navy with a subtle collar, white sponsor branding, and minimal detailing. It’s a smart, understated look that will likely prove popular on the terraces as it already appears to be popular amongst the fans on Twitter.
Third Kit
The third kit is the real standout: a striking purple base with intricate tonal patterns that appear to feature elements of Wigan Athletic’s old club crest subtly woven into the design. Black accents run along the shoulders and sides, giving it a sharp, modern finish. It’s bold, unique, and offers a nod to the club’s history while stepping outside of the traditional colour palette.
Official Reveal Still to Come
At the time of writing, Wigan Athletic haven’t officially confirmed the kits, but with the images now circulating online, the club may be forced to address the leak sooner rather than later.
